Heat pumps use water from nearby Lake Geneva to provide renewable energy to the building.
Maximizing natural light, using sustainable and healthy materials, employing an ergonomic design, and considering air quality and acoustics are among the indoor environmental strategies used to focus on employee health and well-being. 80% of the investment in the building was spent locally, and more than 95% of the former IOC headquarters was reused or recycled.
