Designed by the late Ray Kappe, FAIA, the home reflects traditional California Modernist elements—an open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling glass, integration of indoor and outdoor spaces—with a Craftsman-like attention to detail and warmth.
Design awards include the AIA Committee On The Environment's Top Ten Green Projects Award, the L.A. Business Council's Award of Excellence, the Best in American Living Award, Business 2.0's “World’s 11 Coolest Products,” and Bloomberg Businessweek’s “Architectural Wonders of the World.”
